No Family Should Go Without
Who Are We?
Our Helping Hands Society was created to ensure people in the Musquodoboit Valley have access to the things they need on a daily basis without having to go without or sacrificing other important needs. Whether it is clothing or household items to fresh veggies or bread as well as our well needed Feminine Fridays, our mission is to help curb increased stress levels due to food and financial insecurity. We welcome all volunteers to help with donations and assist with sorting and spreading the word on this compassionate and hospitable family support group. |
Helping Hands: Families Helping Families Society
When we have families helping families we work to ensure that our community of communities stay close and support each other so no family goes without the essentials they need in their daily lives. Musquodoboit Valley Square Roots
Sign up bi-weekly to receive a large bag of fresh vegetables for $7.50 - $10.00. For those that are most in need you will receive a bag for $5.00. To further support our communities, we purchase from local Nova Scotia farmers only and our bread is baked in a home-spun and wholesome way. Parent to Parent Group
